Danny Byrd, The Specialist is the oldest design guy of the group, (that’s in years of experience - he made us say that). He has been in the playground industry since 1974. His accomplishments read like a playground Guru novel. He has built product for Themed restaurants, Museums, Malls, Theme Parks including Tweetsie Railroad, Bush Gardens and Paramount Parks. His name badge also has carried the title, Director of Design for one of the largest playground manufacturer’s in the world. He lead a design team in new product development, served on ASTM committees for F1487 Commercial Play Equipment, F1536, Soft Contained Play Equipment and the standards for Play equipment for under 2. You can also find his name on six patents in the playground industry.
