Tips for Visiting Walker Mill Regional Park – District Heights, MD

by Been There Done That With Kids

Thanks to Been There Done That With Kids for featuring Walker Mill Regional Park playground. Cre8Play loved designing and building this unique whimsical play environment for The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. This particular park wanted to focus on a unique experience that started upon early entry of the park. We are glad to hear the entrance features are welcoming and appreciated.

“Upon arriving, we parked in the lower lot and walked up the hill to the park.  From below, we could see a large slide and a cool entrance sign, but that was about it.   We knew it was going to be a great park as soon as we heard the little garden gnome at the entrance telling jokes!  I had never seen a park with this feature before!  We crossed under the entrance sign and saw the entire park; it’s very impressive.”
